Welcome to Lapa Living. Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Lapa Living, operated by Angkor Lion LLC. We run this store and website - including all content, features, tools, and products (the "Services") - to give you a smooth shopping experience. Our Services are built on the Shopify platform.

These Terms of Service outline what you can expect from us and what we expect from you when using the Services, including important details on warranties and liability. Please give them a read.

By browsing, interacting with, or purchasing through our Services, you're agreeing to these Terms along with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't continue using the Services.

By using our Services, you're confirming you meet the legal age of majority in your state or country. Accounts are personal and can't be transferred or sold to someone else. Keeping your login credentials secure is your responsibility, as is any activity that happens under your account.

Section 2 - Our Products

We do our best to represent our products accurately, but colors and finishes can look slightly different depending on your screen and device settings. We can't guarantee that what you receive will match the displayed image pixel-for-pixel. Descriptions may change over time, and we reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue a product whenever we see fit.

Section 3 - Placing Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to buy, not a guaranteed sale. Lapa Living can accept or decline any order for any reason. An order isn't finalized until we confirm it and your payment goes through. Double-check your order before submitting - returns and exchanges follow our separate Refund Policy.

Section 4 - Pricing and Payment

Prices can change without advance notice. Whatever price is shown at checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation email is what you'll be charged. Unless we say otherwise, listed prices exclude taxes, shipping, and any import fees. You agree to give us accurate payment details and keep them current.

Section 5 - Shipping and Delivery

Delivery estimates are just that - estimates, not promises. We aren't responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or anything outside our control. Once your order is handed off to a shipping carrier, responsibility for it transfers to you.

Section 6 - Intellectual Property

Everything on our Services - logos, product photos, written content, videos, and how it's all arranged - belongs to Lapa Living or our licensors and is protected under intellectual property law. You can't copy, redistribute, alter, or repost any of it without our written permission. Anything not explicitly granted to you here stays reserved by us.

Section 7 - Third-Party Tools

We sometimes give you access to tools built by outside companies. These come "as is," with no guarantees or endorsement from us, and we're not responsible for how you use them.

Section 8 - Links to Other Sites

Our Services may link out to other websites. We don't control, vouch for, or take responsibility for what's on those sites. Visiting them is entirely your own call and risk.

Section 9 - Our Relationship with Shopify

Lapa Living runs on Shopify's platform, but every purchase you make is a transaction between you and Lapa Living directly. Shopify has no involvement in or responsibility for those transactions, and by using our Services you release Shopify and its affiliates from any related claims.

Any personal information you share with us through the Services is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Using our Services means you've read and accepted that policy.

Section 11 - Your Feedback

If you send us reviews, suggestions, or other feedback, you're giving us a free, permanent, worldwide right to use, adapt, and share it however we see fit. You're confirming that feedback is actually yours to give.

Section 12 - Mistakes and Corrections

Every so often, our site might show a typo, wrong price, or missing detail. When that happens, we can correct it and, if needed, cancel or adjust affected orders.

Section 13 - Acceptable Use

Our Services are for lawful use only. You agree not to break any laws, infringe on anyone's IP rights, harass other users, spread malicious code, scrape data without permission, or otherwise disrupt how the Services work. We can cut off access for anyone who violates these rules.

We can suspend or end your access to our Services at any time, without needing to give notice. Anything you already owe us remains owed. Sections covering IP, liability, disclaimers, and indemnification stay in effect even after your access ends.

Section 15 - No Warranties

Our Services and products come "as is" and "as available," with no promises - explicit or implied - about merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or non-infringement. Some places don't allow this kind of disclaimer, so it may not fully apply to you depending on where you live.

Section 16 - Limits on Our Liability

To the extent the law allows, Lapa Living, Angkor Lion LLC, and our team, partners, and licensors won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages tied to your use of our Services or products - including lost profits or data - no matter the legal theory, even if we were warned such damages were possible.

Section 17 - Indemnification

You agree to cover and protect Lapa Living, Angkor Lion LLC, Shopify, and our respective teams from any claims or costs that come from you breaking these Terms, violating a law, or misusing our Services.

Section 18 - Severability

If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, that part gets removed and everything else keeps standing.

Section 19 - The Full Agreement

These Terms, alongside our Privacy Policy and any linked policies, make up the complete agreement between you and Lapa Living, replacing any earlier understanding.

Section 20 - Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and any disputes will be handled in Wyoming courts.

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@lapaliving.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Most concerns can be sorted out this way.

If we can't reach a resolution informally, you and Lapa Living agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your purchase, or your use of our Services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court instead. Arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration provider and will take place in Wyoming, USA, unless you and Lapa Living agree otherwise.

You and Lapa Living each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. Disputes will be handled individually and not combined with any other person's claim without our written consent.

This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest of it will remain in effect.

Section 21 - Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as needed. Updates will appear on this page, and where the law requires it, we'll notify you directly. Continuing to use our Services after an update means you accept the new version.
